Match 2.0

I know we haven't posted in a while.  That's because there was really nothing to write about...until now!!

Here is the rundown of recent events:

We've been presented a few times since our failed match in early August, but nothing came of those situations.  Fast forward to last week...2 situations fell in our lap.  And, finally (after some nail biting and sitting on pins and needles) we've been chosen by one of the birth mothers!

Birth mother is located in Sacramento, California and she is due Jan 15th, 2012.  The birth mother said she wants to know the sex of the baby -- so we'll get to know too!  Hopefully at the next ultrasound appointment we'll be able to find out. 

We spoke with the birth mother on Sunday and had a great (lengthy) conversation...it was an amazing feeling when we got off the phone with her. Both of us just looked at each other; we were grinning from ear to ear and both just starting shaking our heads 'yes'!  It was sort of that feeling - when you know, you know - and we hadn't felt that until now.  We are impressed with this birth mother.  Everything just feels right.
