Happy 11 month birthday, Daphne Jane! How you will be a one-year-old next month, we’ll never know! You have been such a daily joy and delight to us. Our hearts are so full of love for you. The Lord is immeasurably kind to bring you to us, and we are so thankful for your life.

Ten Months: we didn't get an official measurement; but according to Aunt Amy's trusty elephant - we show 26 inches (again...hhhmmm - could be operator error).

Daphne is eating a wide variety of things now. She will try just about anything but loves to cram her mouth full, so we have to watch closely when she is eating. She really enjoys toast w/a tad bit of peanut butter or grape jam - but not together on the same piece of toast!
Some of her new 'tricks' are: giving high-fives, clicking her tongue, making a break for the stairs and starting up them (!!) with no problem, and she is so close to actually blowing & giving kisses! She loves to dance and bounce to all types of music.
Life just continues at the LaManna house. We are getting ready for several more of Daphne's "Firsts". Her First Christmas as well as her First Birthday! It is amazing to look back see how far we have come in a year.
