Holy Molars!

Our once happy, relatively calm home has turned into a mad house. Toddler crying abounds, and there really is no stopping it. Molars, they're a beast!

Learning about style from our toddler

Some people are just born with it, you know?  That innate sense of style. 

We've learned a handful of lessons by watching our opinionated toddler Daphne pick her clothes each morning.

March Madness

Every once in a while, Rachel is seized with anxiety about how quickly Daphne is growing up. We can't deny that it's moving fast.

Truth is….we have a toddler. A real, miniature person with thoughts and feelings and opinions…so many opinions.

Several transitions are happening in our house – at an astounding rate of speed!

Toddler Summary – catching up

Daphne Jane. She is all about the fun and soaking up life. She is also not concerned about her personal safety. She always has some sort of injury--usually to her face from some stumble/spill/trip. She either cries not at all or cries for a minute and moves on.

Daphne - 1 Santa - 0

Yes, it is that happy, jolly, time of year. Daphne doesn’t really get the whole Christmas ‘thing’ yet, let alone know who Santa is, but that doesn’t stop her from saying (her word for) Santa and getting all excited for the lights on the tree and the blow-up snowmen around the neighborhood.
